Theresa Edem-Isemin has got her first award nomination, and it’s from the (Zulu) African Film Academy Awards. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Darasen Richards Feature Film, “Betrayal”. “Betrayal” went to garner three more nominations including, Best Director (Darasen Richards), Best Cinematographer (Darasen Richards) and Best Supporting Actor(Wale Ojo).
The awards ceremony will hold on Saturday 26th of November, 2016, here in Lagos.

Africa’s most popular weekday soap, Tinsel, is making a major change to its cast. One of the key characters in the series, Angela Dede – played by Matilda Obaseki-Mozia – will be temporarily replaced by Nigerian actress, Theresa Edem. The change takes effect immediately.
