Last night, at the Las Vegas Black Film Festival, which held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Theresa Edem-Isemin won the highly acclaimed award for Best Actress in a Feature film. She won this award for her role as Daniella in the soon-to-be-released film, Loving Daniella.
Loving Daniella tells the story of a young woman with psychological issues and her quest to find true love. It is set in Lagos and in Antigua and features several big names. It is set to hit the cinemas in 2018.
The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is a film festival that celebrates black actors, directors and producers. It holds annually.

Theresa is working on a project called, “The Heiress”. It is an epic series set in the beautiful landscape of Akwa Ibom state.
Produced by Royal Arts Academy for ROK, “The Heiress” features a number of screen favourites including Queen Nwokoye, Matilda Obaseki-Mozia, Emem Ufot and Eno Ebenezer, to name a few. Keep your eyes peeled for this one.
The “Loving Daniella” shoot is finally complete! The film, which features scenes shot in Nigeria, Las Vegas and Antigua was completed in the last few weeks in Antigua. It is a story about a young lady with mental illness, her quest to find love, and the men she encounters on this journey. The visuals are stunning, the story is beautiful, we can’t wait for this to hit the cinemas. In the meantime, you can check out some photos from the shoot.
